Juliettes: Explore STEM Your Way

The Girl Scout Lab is GSCSNJ’s mobile STEM classroom, designed to bring exciting, hands-on science, technology, engineering, and creativity straight to girls in every corner of Central & Southern New Jersey.

Whether you're a troop, a Juliette, a school, or a community partner, the Lab arrives ready to spark curiosity, build confidence, and inspire girls to dream big.

Not every girl has access to STEM — so we’re bringing the STEM to her.

With the Girl Scout Lab, girls will:

Build skills that last a lifetime
Experiment like real scientists
Interact with real STEM equipment
Explore STEM in a nontraditional way!

The Lab is designed to support all Girl Scout levels, from Daisies to Ambassadors and offer experiences that grow with girls as they grow.

Girls can complete steps to earn a wide variety of STEM Badges and Fun Patches, including:

Meet Mika!

Mika was born and raised in a place where you vacation...Miami, Florida!

Since graduating from high school with a specialization in Biomedical Sciences, Mika knew she had two passions. One, working with youth and two, anything relating to STEM!

After graduating with a bachelor's in criminal justice specializing in Juvenile Justice, she worked in various settings where she engaged at risk, marginalized youth with STEM.

Mika moved to Philadelphia to continue her passion of educating and exciting youth about all things related to STEAM! A fun fact about Mika; she was a Girl Scout in Miami!

What a full circle moment, now she is the STEM Educator for the Girl Scouts of Central and Southern New Jersey!
