Independent Girl Scouting, Your Way
Not every girl’s Girl Scout experience looks the same — and that’s okay.
As a Juliette Girl Scout, girls participate independently while staying connected to the Girl Scout community through events, service, and leadership opportunities.
This pathway is ideal for girls who want flexibility, as well as for families who are waiting for a troop to become available in their area.

A Juliette Girl Scout is a registered Girl Scout who participates without a troop. Juliette Scouts:
- Earn badges and awards independently
- Participate in council programs and community events
- Complete service projects
- Build leadership skills
- Work toward Girl Scout High Awards (Bronze, Silver, and Gold)
Girls receive the same Girl Scout experience — with a schedule that fits their lives.
The Juliette Pathway is open to girls of all ages and is especially beneficial for:
- Older girls (grades 6–12) seeking a flexible way to stay engaged
- Girls with busy schedules or competing commitments
- Families waiting for a troop to form locally
- Girls who prefer a more independent experience
Girl Scouts in grades 6–12 may participate in Imagine, a free virtual webinar series led by subject matter experts.
Sessions focus on practical life skills, including:
- Confidence building
- Public speaking
- Interview preparation
- Résumé writing
- Financial basics
Sessions are held virtually, offered monthly, and are open to both Juliette Girl Scouts and troop-based members. Space is limited, and registration is required for each session.
Juliette Scouts are independent — but always part of Girl Scouts.
