Learn about our "HerStory"
The Girl Scouts of Central & Southern NJ (GSCSNJ) celebrated the grand opening of the new Girl Scouts “HerStory” Center on March 12, 2017. Over the past years girls have learned about and honored the rich history of our more than a century organization, when founder Juliette Gordon Low, officially registered the organization's first 18 girl members in Savannah, Georgia.

Did you know?
The center is open every Tuesday, the first Saturday every month, and by appointment or through an On-Demand. HerStory Center staff also travel to various membership events throughout the year.
Honoring Our History
The goal of the HerStory Center is to capture the legacy of our 105-year-old organization and recognize the girls and women who made history in our local communities. As founder Juliette Gordon Low said, “The work of today is the history of tomorrow, and we are its makers.”
Did you know?
Brownies and Juniors can achieve the badge at the HerStory Center.
Cadettes, Seniors, and Ambassadors will need to complete a service aspect in order to earn the badge.
