To train Girl Scout adult volunteers in how to be a Girl Scout Silver Award mentor. This includes: 1. Review silver award requirements (covered in Silver Award webinar) 2. Guiding girls to find silver award projects 3. Guidance during & after the project (general advice, $ management, Girl Scout rules - chaperoning & insurance).
Please be sure to attend the Girl Silver webinar prior to attending this in-person training. Some of the items reviewed reflect portions of the webinar. The Silver Award webinar can be located on the GSCSNJ Silver Award webpage. A Zoom link will be sent within 24 hours of the event.
