Get ready to travel the globe without leaving home! By hosting a country, your troop becomes the official ambassador for that nation for the day. You'll dive deep into one country and bring it to life for our travelers to explore. Tables range from $25-$30 depending on the amount of girls at your table. Create an exciting display that lets visitors experience your country through crafts, games, songs, traditions, food, and fun facts. Use display boards, props, costumes, music-get creative! Every country must have a flag (store-bought or handmade) to proudly wave during our opening Parade of Flags. Each table must feature the country's national bird, explaining why it is important, its cultural significance, and the type of climate and habitat where it lives.
Save $10 for Double the programs, double the adventure with Girl Scouts of Central and Southern New Jersey. Register for both Passports Around the World (3/7) and the STEM Conference 2026 (3/28)!
Please note: Hosting troops can vary from 10 participants to 20 participants, and the pricing will be tierd. Troops with 10 girls or less will be $25 and troops with 10-20 girls will be $30. Hosting troops should have at least two adults to accompany their troops. Larger troops interested in hosting can host two countries or register the remaining girls and adults as tourists.
When registering to host a country, please register only the adult overseeing the country. Once the registration is complete, the registered adult will receive an email with a link to a mircosoft form that will ask the following questions. This mircosoft link will be sent out every friday to the new registrants until registration closes: Top 3 countries interested in hosting (number 1 picks will be selected on a first come basis) Name of girl participants (no more than 12 per country) Name of second adult What will your display include? Will you be serving food? All girls attending, whether hosting or touring, will receive a re-usable bag, passport, an agenda of activities and a patch. Fill your passport with stamps or stickers from each country! Troops hosting a county will have an opportunity to tour the other countries and participate in any other activities happening throughout the day.
