This fun and comprehensive program covers: -Babysitting as a business, so students learn everything they need to start earning extra cash -Safety and injury prevention guidelines, with best practices to make sure that everyone stays safe -Leadership strategies to build confidence when responding to conflict, as well as suggestions on how to avoid conflicts from the outset -Tips on age-appropriate play, and how to build rapport and stay engaged with children -Basic caregiving skills such as feeding, burping, diapering, and safe sleep practices -CPR/AED Certification -First Aid (included but not limited to) --Relief for choking --Responding to external bleeding --Direct manual pressure & bandaging --Use of tourniquet --Common injuries --Burns --Bites and stings Grades 6-12
