Imagine: Putting Your Best Foot Forward: Interview Skills for College, Scholarships, and Leadership Opportunities

Date: Thursday April 16, 2026

Time: 5:30pm - 7:00pm

Location: Virtual

Cadettes / Seniors / Ambassadors

About Imagine: The Imagine Series is designed for Cadette, Senior, and Ambassador Girl Scouts who want the flexibility to build life skills, college and career readiness in a virtual setting. Each session will be led by a Subject Matter Expert (SME) who passionate about sharing their time, talent, and expertise with Girl Scouts!

Why Imagine? From the Imagine Series: Girl Scouts will gain confidence in being their best selves while learning how to share their unique story. Focused on confidence, public speaking, interview preparation, and resume writing, Girls will practice expressing their accomplishments and strengths with clarity and pride. Whether they're connecting with new friends or stepping into an interview, Girl Scouts will learn how to let their confidence shine through their voice, their smile, and their resume.

April's Theme: Putting Your Best Foot Forward - Interview Prep

The college application process is an opportunity to tell your story-and interviews are one of the ways you can stand out. In this interactive workshop, Girl Scouts will learn how to prepare for interviews for college admissions, scholarships, internships, and leadership opportunities.

Girl Scouts will explore how to communicate their strengths, leadership experiences, and service work (including Girl Scouts!) while building confidence and self-advocacy skills that are essential for college success. Participants will also learn how interviews fit into the broader college application process and how preparation can help them present their best selves.
