Spend a day with you Girl Scout Friends and Leaders at the zoo! Come choose your adventure at the Cape May Zoo from 9:45am-4pm for a day full of activities! This day is available for all Girl Scout levels. Youth participant tickets start $12 and adult tickets are $5.
Check-in starting at 9:45 AM - get this year's Cape May Zoo Scavenger Hunt book! With the zoo opening its gates at 10 AM, the scavenger hunt will begin-giving everyone a chance to win! Scavenger hunts will not be accepted for judging until 12:00 PM and will be processed in the order they are turned in. Answers must be correct or have only one single error to qualify for the Top 10 prizes.
NO RUNNING - if you are seen running by a staff member, you will be disqualified from placing in the Top 10. Prizes TBD. The top 10 participants who get all answers correctly will receive a prize. All participants will receive a small consolation prize!
Join the zookeepers throughout the day to ask questions and learn more about the incredible animal ambassadors at the Cape May Zoo.
From 10:30 AM-2:00 PM, GSCSNJ animal craft activity tables will be open to all attendees. Make swaps, leaping animals, and much more! Say hello to your local membership specialist on your way into the zoo-especially if you bring a friend who is not a Girl Scout! All who attend this program will earn a patch, including adults.
Add-on: 1) Animal Meet & Greets ($4+) - To prevent overwhelming the animals, this year's Animal Meet & Greets are limited to 60 people per session. Times for the animal meet and greet and the list of animals, will be released soon.
Families are welcome to join in for the fun! This is not a drop-off event. If you plan to stay for the full day, please bring a picnic lunch, as food will not be provided. There are plenty of picnic tables available to relax, recharge, and enjoy the day!
