Nature is full of colors, shapes, and dinosaurs! In this program, Girl Scouts will explore the patterns and shapes that surround us in the outdoors. We'll explore fossils and plants to find repeating shapes, observe different dinosaurs to discover symmetry, and even learn how scientists study patterns and shapes in dinosaur fossils and footprints. Girls will learn how to use these patterns and shapes for craft designs to take home. We will identify the differences between naturally occurring patterns and patterns created by animals, dinosaurs, or humans. Girls will create art and share their findings with the group at Girl Scout DreamLab.
They will also get a Jurassic-themed gift to take home!
Information: Girls will earn their Shapes in Nature Badge.
