Get ready for an unforgettable adventure! Join us for
Dinos & Dig Brunch, where Girl Scouts and their parental figures
can enjoy a delicious breakfast together before heading into the
quarry for a real fossil dig. Unearth 66-million-year-old treasures,
learn from expert paleontologists, and take home up to three fossils
as a keepsake. It's the perfect mix of family bonding and prehistoric discovery!
Brunch (9-10 AM)
Start your morning with a delicious breakfast at the Fossil
Field Station before heading into the quarry for an exclusive fossil
dig. Enjoy a buffet-style brunch featuring eggs, bacon, fruit, coffee,
and more-served at the Fossil Field Station.
Dino Dig
Experience (10-11 AM)
Discover 66-million-year-old fossils, get expert help
identifying them, and take home a few fossils from your dig
experience. Explore the four-acre quarry alongside our expert
paleontology team. You'll receive guidance on fossil excavation and
identification and have the opportunity to uncover authentic fossils
to keep.
📍 The quarry sits on a historic Cretaceous bone bed -
the only active, publicly accessible quarry east of the Mississippi -
where more than 100,000 fossils have been unearthed from over 100 species.
🎟 Optional Museum Add-On ($20)
Enhance your morning with museum admission for $20 per person,
granting access to all the indoor galleries and interactive exhibits:
VR adventures, live animals, scavenger hunts, playgrounds, and
exhibits highlighting the mass extinction event.
