Go Ape Adventure Summer Series: The Ultimate Summer
Thrill!
Get ready for the adventure of a lifetime, just a short
1 hour and 15-minute bus ride to Bear, Delaware! This summer, we're
heading to Lums Pond State Park for an action-packed day filled with
excitement and fun.
Soar through the treetops on the
Go Ape Tree Top Journey, conquer thrilling obstacles:
- 60 minutes of heart-pounding aerial excitement
- 25 unique and thrilling obstacles
- Soar from a 25ft high platform
- Zip through the trees on a 120ft long zipline
Immerse yourself in the thrill of adventure! Discover the
fascinating science, intricate biology, and fundamental physics behind
each exhilarating experience on the Go APE course. Whether you're
soaring through the treetops or navigating challenging obstacles,
you'll gain a deeper understanding of the natural world and the
scientific principles that make these adventures possible!
Test your wits and teamwork in the Forest escAPE! - The
Outdoor Escape Room
Your Mission: t's up to you to become the hero of the forest,
uncover the mystery, find the pollutant to save the beloved wildlife
before it's too late!
Nestled within the park's nature
preserve, the Whale Wallow Nature Center offers an
environmental education experience like no other. With
floor-to-ceiling windows, you can enjoy stunning views of the park's
forests and unique wetland habitats. Inside, engage with local
wildlife, including a 500-gallon freshwater fish tank, reptiles, and
amphibians. Chat with naturalists about the park and participate in a L
ive Animal Encounter to meet our resident reptiles
and amphibians up close!
Pondside Scavenger
Hunt- guided by a ParkRanger you will immerse yourselves in
the natural world with a hike along the pond. Embark on a captivating
hike through the lush forest. Discover the hidden gems of one of
Delaware's most beautiful state parks.
What to
Bring: a detailed list of items to bring for this day will be sent to
all registered particpants before the program

note** lunch is NOT provided. Please pack your lunch, snakcs and
plenty of water to stay energized /hydrated throughout the day.
Tentative Schedule:
8:30 AM: Depart from Cherry
Hill Service Center
10:00 AM: Arrive at Lums Pond State Park,
Bear, Delaware
10:15 AM - 11:30 AM: Safety briefing, harness
check, Treetop Journey
11:30 AM- 12:30 PM: Forest EscAPE.
12:30 PM - 1:30 PM: Lunch break- additional Games and activities
provided for the Girls to enjoy the outdoors!
1:30 PM - 3:30 PM:
Visit the Whale Wallow Nature Center and take part in the Live Animal
Encoutner and Pondside Scavenger Hike!
5:00 pm Arrival back to
Cherry Hill Service Center
