Aloha Mai Kakou, Girl Scout Ohana! Come by the Girl Scout DreamLab on May 2nd from 6pm - 7:30pm to help us celebrate May Day! May Day, also known as Lei Day, is a traditional Hawaiian celebration and holiday that is celebrated throughout the Island Kingdom of Hawaii.
Have your keiki (children) come and taste the sweets of the island, haupia (coconut fudge), then we will make a lei necklace for them to wear and finish off by learning some basic hula steps and other dances from Polynesia! Come listen to the beautiful music of the islands and feel the Aloha Spirit! Can't wait to see you all there! A Hui Hou and Chee Hoo!
Girl Information: Participants will earn a Hawaiian Laua Fun patch.
Adult Information: If you are a Leader or Girl Scout Adult planning to stay to cover ratios please register so we know you are coming!
