Girls must be a current registered Girl Scout (during the 2024-2025 membership year). Space is limited! 30 rooms have been reserved for this trip
All girls/troops must have a GSCSNJ-approved adult chaperone attending with them.
Troops attending are responsible for proper girl/adult ratios.
Troops attending must ensure all chaperones are GSCSNJ-approved chaperones.
A Troop Trip form must be completed for your trip to cover the time you are traveling to and from the Walt Disney World Resort (in the name of Girl Scouts). GSCSNJ's Discover the Magic program starts on Wednesday, August 13, 2025 in Orlando, Florida, and ends on Monday, August 18, 2025 in Orlando, Florida.
Review Safety Activity Checkpoints for the Trip/Travel & Theme Parks. This includes but is not limited to the following:
Each participant has their bed. Parent/Guardian permission is required if girls are sharing a bed.
Girls cannot share a bed with an adult unless it is their parent/guardian.
Separate sleeping/bathroom facilities are provided for adult males.
If girls share a room with an unrelated adult, parental permission in writing is required.
If traveling by automobile, there must be two adults in the vehicle.
Chaperones attending the trip are required to follow Girl Scout Volunteer Policies which include but are not limited to the prohibition of smoking in front of the girls, consumption of alcoholic beverages, and the use of foul language.
There is a limit to the number of chaperones permitted to participate in the Imagination Campus workshops due to Disney Programming requirements. If you or any of the adult chaperones traveling with your troop are * interested in serving as a chaperone during the workshops, please indicate this on the registration form. A lottery will be held if we receive over the number allowed.
An adult is required to escort their Girl Scout(s) to the resort lobby to sign them in for the program. An adult chaperone will also be required to meet the group at the designated location after the program to sign their Girl Scout(s) out.
The number of adults/siblings cannot exceed the number of girls participating in the workshops. This is a Disney requirement for the purchase of discounted park tickets which are included in this package.
Additional travelers going over the ration will be required to pay an additional fee to cover their park tickets.
Payment Information: $50 non-refundable deposit due at registration per registrant. Half the payment is due by April 15, 2025. The full Payment is due by the registration closed date of June 1, 2025, Full room cancellations only. For individual cancellations, the remaining participants in a room will be liable for the fees per room. (for example, if there are 4 people in a room each paying $1080 for the trip and one cancels, the 3 remaining people will now be charged $1200 per person for the trip.) If you are interested in traveling to the Walt Disney Resort before August 13 or staying after August 18, you are responsible for securing your own reservation with Disney.
