"End your 2024-25 Girl Scout year with a BANG at our 2nd Annual Trenton Bridging Event! Open to all from Sprouts becoming Daisy's to Ambassadors bridging to Adults - you don't have to be bridging levels to celebrate finishing a full year of Girl Scouting!

Join us to celebrate starting a new journey and level of your Girl Scout career by connecting with your Girl Scout sisters from all over New Jersey at this ceremony by the Delaware River. Bridging is an important transition in a Girl Scout's life. It's a defining moment when a Girl Scout becomes aware of her achievements and is ready for new adventures and responsibilities. Bridging ceremonies often utilize a bridge as girls take literal steps toward the future.

For Girl Scouts, the act of crossing the bridge is both a physical and symbolic step, as they have the opportunity to bridge levels six times - Daisy to Brownie, Brownie to Junior, Junior to Cadette, Cadette to Senior, Senior to Ambassador, and Ambassador to Adult. (Although we do welcome the 'Un-official' Sprouts to become fresh brand new Daisys!)

Girl Scout Daisies through Adults are welcome to join us for a Girl Scout exclusive event after we march across the iconic Trenton Makes Bridge (aka the Lower Trenton Bridge), with views of Trenton in the distance, from Pennsylvania to the historic William Trent House in Trenton, New Jersey. Drop off of those wanting to cross the 1/2 mile bridge (0.6-mile walk in total) will be on the Pennsylvania side of the Trenton Makes Bridge. Crossing from oldest to youngest we will continue the ceremony with each level greeting the next at the historic Trent House.

Fun, festivities, refreshments, and more will complete the evening and be a sweet end to your Girl Scout year! Look forward to fun yard games (with some relay races), crafts (memory jars, kindness rocks, and friendship paracord keychains), music, garden photo-zone, and congratulatory cupcakes! As the evening gets darker make sure to look to the Trenton Makes Bridge as it lights up in Girl Scout Green!

Bridging kits with drawstring bags will be presented to all Girl Scouts that qualify in bridging up to the next level! The bridging kit includes a certificate, bridge fun patch, membership pin and tab, rainbow bridge award, pencil, Brownie wings, and possibly a few additional goodies. Sprouts bridging to Daisy will receive their Daisy pin, and Ambassadors bridging to adults will receive their Adult pin. Girl Scouts, past and present, from across New Jersey and around the nation are invited to join us to participate in this special and unique opportunity to celebrate themselves by experiencing a Girl Scout Ceremony as they never have before!

**To be able to cross the bridge you must be registered (Girl Scouts and Adults). All girls that cross the bridge will receive a bridging fun patch. ***IF YOU ARE NOT REGISTERED YOU WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO CROSS THE BRIDGE DUE TO SAFETY PROTOCOLS.
