Websites

Nearly all Girl Scout members surf the web regularly and many Girl Scout Troops and Girl Scout Service Units are designing their own web pages. Websites and the information they contain may be viewed by anyone, anywhere! Ensuring the health and safety of girls is the cornerstone of the Girl Scout Movement; therefore all safety guidelines must be followed.

Service Unit Sites

There are a variety of free and easy to use hosting sites for creating and maintaining your site. For users looking to extend their services to include things like member log in, video features, interactive calendars and more, we suggest reviewing the sites below to get started. Several SUs have had success by asking older Girl Scouts or young alumna to assist in the creation of a site that can be easily managed by volunteers --- a great way to keep girls and young alumnae involved!

If your Service Unit currently has an online presence that you would like included on the GSCSNJ site please send the URL to dlindsay@gscsnj.org.

Some free services for building your own site. GSCSNJ does not endorse nor support any of the sites below.
