Follow Girl Scouts from central and southern New Jersey as they delve into an ecological paradise, walk amid lush rainforests and beneath towering volcanoes in enchanting Costa Rica. This group will be transported into a misty cloud forest, get up close to the world’s most magnificent plant and animal habitats, and see sensational waterfalls and hot springs. From beginning to end, experience natural beauty and thrilling adventures beyond what you ever imagined.
These G.I.R.L.s (go-getters, innovators, risk-takers, leaders) will be sharing these new experiences each day!
Day 3 (Thursday, July 11)
"We hiked down 509 steps and when we got to the bottom there was a beautiful view of a waterfall. We swam at the base and then hiked up the volcano!"
-Addison S., Troop 61807
Day 2 (Wednesday, July 10)
We had an amazing time today at the Doka coffee plantation! Super cool coffee samples, and lots of interesting stuff to try out! I even got to try my hand at how they spread the coffee beans to dry in the Costa Rican sun!
- Malin, Troop 61807
