What is the Cancellation Policy?
Canceled By Council:

If an event is canceled by the council, a full refund will be issued. Refunds should be received within two weeks. All refunds will be issued through the same financial process used to purchase.

Canceled By Parent/Guardian/Leader:

If for any reason you need to cancel your Girl Scout’s attendance at a program or event, please contact Customer Care at 856-795-1560.

PLEASE NOTE : All cancellations are subject to a $5 processing fee. No refund will be issued for a girl or troop not attending, if a girl or troop leaves early, or if it is raining (but not inclement weather).

gsEvents | NEW Registration System

GSCSNJ has begun transitioning to a new registration system called gsEvents which is linked to your myGS account.

  • Any programs that are currently in eBiz and Eventbrite will be listed in gsEvents and you will be redirected to the appropriate site.
  • Once all current programs are complete, eBiz and Eventbrite will no longer be used for council events.

Should you have questions or challenges completing registration, contact Customer Care at customercare@gscsnj.org or 856-795-1560.

Over the next several months, we will provide more information to all members on how to utilize gsEvents.

Family Fun and Fire Night

Your entire family is welcome to explore camp, Climb the Rockwall tower, Tie dye and of course toast marshmallows and sing songs over a glowing campfire. My first camp experience is an On Demand program for Troop 27861 specifically. During this event little campers will learn about "Leave No Trace", songs and swaps, collect scavenger hunt items, fire building and enjoy S'mores for the first time. 

Campers and adults should wear confortable weather approiate clothes, and sneakers. All Campers must bring a lunch, no food will be provided with the exception on S'mores supplies. Campers will receive a fun patch.

Girl Scout Day at TNC - Junior Animal Habitats

Date: Sat Apr 29, 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM EDT

Visit the Tulpehaking Nature Center and Abbott Marshlands to earn your Junior Animal Habitats badge! Bring a snack and dress for the weather. Troops will be outside for the majority of the event, so make sure to wear sturdy, closed toed shoes.

This is not a drop off event, adults are required to cover all ratios for their Girl Scouts. Staff members from the Tulpehaking Nature Center will be running the activites for this program, no GSCSNJ staff will be present.

May Day Color Run Celebration

Summer is almost here and we are celebrating the warm weather returning, birds singing and beautiful flowers blooming. Camp Sacajawea is exploding with color and energy and we invite you to be part of the fun!  Party people can dance the day away while creating summer crafts, learning the May pole ribbon tradition and enjoying camp activities. Color run participants will be showered with pops of color around every turn. Getting your color on not your thing? You can still be part of the experience and cheer your friends on.

Color Run participants will receive a runners bib with numbers and participation ribbon in addition to the fun patch and T-shirt everyone will receive. Participants do not have to run, event is at your own pace and not timed. Color Run course is around the large loop at Camp Sacajawea and approximately 1.2 miles. There will be water stations around the loop as well as color blasters.

Color Blasters are encouraged to bring posters for their favorite "runners" and cheer them on along the route.

WILDERNESS FIRST AID TRAINING

The objective of this course is to provide you with a foundation of first aid knowledge and skills so you are able to respond, react, and provide care in areas where emergency medical services could be delayed. This workshop also assists you in developing leadership skills. You will learn how to help prevent, plan for, and respond to emergencies.

Troop Camper Certification at Kettle Run 5/13

This one day Outdoor Training (with an online prerequisite) will prepare you to take your kids camping outdoors overnight and qualify you to be a “Troop Camper”. This training will take place at Camp Kettle Run.

She and Me Brunch and Explore 5/13/23

Join us as we celebrate You and Her with a very special day at camp. Enjoy a delicious hot and cold brunch, Mother’s Day crafts and open camp activities at your leisure. Available staff led activities will include Boating, and Zip-Line. You are also welcome to explore camp and visit the HerStory Experience. The day will conclude with a community campfire at the amphitheater with gourmet s’mores and songs.

My First Camp Experience 0n Demand 05/13

My first camp experience is an On Demand program for Troop 30928 specifically. During this event campers will learn about "Leave No Trace", songs and swaps, collect scavenger hunt items, fire building and enjoy S'mores for the first time. 

Campers and adults should wear confortable weather approiate clothes, and sneakers. All Campers must bring a picnic dinner, no food will be provided with the exception on S'mores supplies. Campers will receive a fun patch.

More detailed information will be sent in aconfirmation email 2 weeks prior to the event.

This Camporee on demand program is specifically for SU 618.

Gold Package Camporee to include Disney Theme. Archery, Low Ropes and Boating, (if boating not available rokwall will replace). Program to include knife skills and 2 additional skills. Camp programs to include capture the flag, yard games and sit-upon project. Leave no trace, Whisper trail and Campfire with S'mores will all be staffed and led by Camp satff and managed by Christina.

Please provide list of level and total campers at each site and for each troop. SU to assign sleeping arrangements and are responsible for all food with the exception of S'mores.

Discover the Magic 2023 (Cadettes, Seniors, Ambassadors with troop or family)

Come enjoy a week in the most magical place on earth – Disney World in Orlando, Florida.  Cadette, Senior and Ambassador Girl Scouts along with their family or troop will enjoy 6 magical nights and 5 days.  Families / Troops will be free to explore and discover all 4 Disney parks as well as Disney Springs and Blizzard Beach at their convenience between July 20 to 26, 2023.    All registered Girl Scouts will attend a Disney Imagination Campus workshop. 

Discover the Magic is open to families to participate in the program. As long as there is one Girl Scout in grades 6-12, families can register and attend this event. Siblings who are also in grades 6-12 will be eligible to attend the Imagination Campus workshop if they wish.
