What is the Cancellation Policy?
Canceled By Council:

If an event is canceled by the council, a full refund will be issued. Refunds should be received within two weeks. All refunds will be issued through the same financial process used to purchase.

Canceled By Parent/Guardian/Leader:

If for any reason you need to cancel your Girl Scout’s attendance at a program or event, please contact Customer Care at 856-795-1560.

PLEASE NOTE : All cancellations are subject to a $5 processing fee. No refund will be issued for a girl or troop not attending, if a girl or troop leaves early, or if it is raining (but not inclement weather).

gsEvents | NEW Registration System

GSCSNJ has begun transitioning to a new registration system called gsEvents which is linked to your myGS account.

  • Any programs that are currently in eBiz and Eventbrite will be listed in gsEvents and you will be redirected to the appropriate site.
  • Once all current programs are complete, eBiz and Eventbrite will no longer be used for council events.

Should you have questions or challenges completing registration, contact Customer Care at customercare@gscsnj.org or 856-795-1560.

Over the next several months, we will provide more information to all members on how to utilize gsEvents.

Oak Spring Camp Aide Retreat Full Weekend 3/18/22

The first ever Camp Aide Retreat is upon us! By invitation only for current high school students who have successfully completed the CIT program at Camp Oak Spring. Celtic Folklore & Fairies: Painting & Storytelling 03/19/22

Join us as we venture into the mystical world of celtic folklore and fairies! The session will start with a cheerful Celtic story led by professional storyteller, Lady Hawke. Following the story, participants will create a fairy-themed watercolor painting led by local artist, Nicole Blank. After our painting session, the group will create their own fairies to bring home with them. Participants are invited to wear fairy themed outfits/wings or fairy themed makeup/facepaint. Fun patch included. 

*This can be a drop-off event. Any adults that would like to participate in the painting & craft will register and pay. Any adults who wish to stay and not participate, do not need to register and the event is free to you.*

Crazy Cadette Camporee: Spring Edition

The Crazy Cadette Camporee was canceled the past two years, so let's get together and celebrate camping- Crazy Cadette style! This troop based event provides just the right mix of assistance from Council Staff. You provide the food, we provide the fun! Adventure activities and fun workshops will keep you busy all day Saturday, plus a group sing-a-long on Saturday night! 

A discount will be applied when you select the Barn if you are only attending for the day.

Cadette Archery Badge Morning Session 05/01/22

Learn the steps of shooting and how to identify the parts of the bow and arrow. During this three hour course, you'll work with an archery instructor to earn your Cadette Archery Badge. Badge included.

May Day Festival: Celebrate Spring In The Outdoors!

Celebrate the magic of spring for our 2nd annual May Day Festival! Participants will earn their outdoor arts badge through traditional May Day activities such as making traditional flower crowns, dancing around the Maypole, and creating works of art with Blank Canvas Splattered! Outdoor Art Badges, specialty art supplies, and your completed works of art to take home, included in the price. Grades K-1 Daisy Outdoor Art Maker, grades 2-3 Brownie Outdoor Art Creator, and grades 4-5 Outdoor Art Explorer.

Program Logistics

Groups will cycle through four stations around camp in which they will complete May Day themed badge work. Groups will be split into levels (Daisy, Brownie, Junior). All levels will complete similar, but age specific activities.

Sleepaway Weekend/Weekday Camp Aides help keep camp fun by singing songs, leading fire building, and encouraging our campers to be the best G.I.R.L.s they can be. This session of CAs will assist with leading the CIT II backpacking trip. Prerequisite: Must have completed CIT II Leadership & Team Dynamics (June 28th- July 11th, 2021) in order to participate.

Returning this summer – Troop Camp! The Troop Camp experience is ideal for girls who are excited about a unique opportunity for bonding during a camping adventure with a familiar group of  peers and troop leaders.

The troop brings the girls and the leaders and Camp Sacy will provide an all-inclusive experience with the camp magic, leadership experiences, high adventure, badge workshops, and all meals  and snacks (NEW). Groups will be required to bring enough  adults to meet any minimum ratios for the entire time at camp.

The outdoors are powerful and you will encounter opportunities for decision making that let you work collaboratively to problem solve and think creatively. Camp Sacy will help you discover your potential, independence, and voice. Girls will be split up into groups by grade to maximize their experience and foster a culture of community.

Inawendiwin Sleepaway Camp Week 5 7/31/22

The troop camp experience is ideal for girls who are excited about a unique opportunity for bonding during a camping adventure with a familiar group of peers and troop leaders. The troop brings the girls and the leaders and we will provide an all-inclusive experience with the camp magic, leadership experiences, high adventure, badge workshops,  and all meals and snacks (NEW). 

Sacajawea Summer Group Camp Aide August 8-10 & August 12-14

Sleepaway Weekend/Weekday Camp Aides help keep camp fun by singing songs, leading fire building, and encouraging our campers to be the best G.I.R.L.s they can be. Prerequisite: Must complete CIT II Leadership & Team Dynamics Or CIT II Small Cfraft Safety (June 28th- July 11th, 2021 OR June 26- July 10th, 2022) in order to participate.
