Have Fun. Make Friends. Be Outdoors!

GSCSNJ is excited to announce that Summer Camp registration is open, and the  2021 Summer Camp Brochure is up for families to browse!

Summer Camp is perfect for everything girls have been missing, from hands-on activities and meeting new friends to being outdoors and trying new things. Campers will spend their summer outdoors and participate in activities designed to help them grow, become more confident, and learn life skills, all while making memories and friendships to last a lifetime.

Types of 2021 Summer Camps include:

Day Camp (Grades K-12)

Camp staff will guide campers as they build resilience and independence during the day while spending the night at home. Girls will spend their days growing and learning through intentional activities and themed programs.

  • Camp Sacajawea | Newfield
  • Camp Inawendiwin | Tabernacle
  • Camp Oak Spring | Somerset

Sleepaway Camp (Grade 2-12)
Going to Sleepaway Camp is a rite of passage for many Girl Scouts. As our high-adventure camp, Camp Inawendiwin sleepaway programs are designed to encourage girls to try new things, discover independence, and connect with their camp community free of electronic devices.

  • Camp Inawendiwin | Tabernacle

Family Camping (All ages and genders welcome!)
Have all the fun of Girl Scouting packed into a three-day, two-night adventure! Whether it’s your family’s first time camping or you are experienced campers, our expert staff will help your group embrace the outdoor spirit!

  • Camp Sacajawea | Newfield

Troop Camping (K-12 & Adult)
Troop Camping is for the troop eager to earn their next badge while camping under the stars together. You bring the girls and volunteers, and Camp Sacajawea will provide the camp magic!

  • Camp Sacajawea | Newfield

Virtual Camping (Grades K-12)
Virtual Camp connects girls from across the country. It includes a blend of live interactions with camp counselors and plenty of activities to complete away from the screen, independently or with a caregiver.

Camp Health and Safety

GSCSNJ has been actively planning programming options for a variety of scenarios to be able to offer our Summer Camp experience to girls. We know this summer will look different, but we are excited for the woods to come alive again with laughter, fun, and friendship. At this time, GSCSNJ is planning and preparing for in-person Summer Camp programs with  extensive health & safety modifications.

Financial Assistance

We believe that every girl should have the opportunity to go to Summer Camp. GSCSNJ offers Financial Assistance to those who need help paying for camp.  Special consideration is given to families impacted by COVID-19.

GSCSNJ encourages all girls and adults who need assistance paying for Summer Camp to complete the  Financial Assistance process.
