Only one organization for girls introduces the possibilities, provides opportunities, teaches teamwork, celebrates individuality, embraces diversity and establishes lifelong friendships. Girl Scouts does all this in the spirit of fun without any admissions exams, tryouts, and physical requirements! Being a girl is great enough for us.

Each year, we provide over 27,000 girls, ages 4-17, with programs and activates that develop leadership, citizenship and positive self esteem. They do it by participating in all kinds of programs and events including, community service projects, camping experiences, fitness programs, product sales, individual activities, civic events and other activities appropriate to their individual needs and ages, based on sound research on contemporary issues facing girls today. We strive to reach every girl everywhere. Girl Scouts of Central & Southern NJ is passionate about making a positive difference in the lives of girls.

How do we pay for all of this? Not a penny of troop dues or the annual registration fee goes to the Council (the annual fee goes to our national organization, GSUSA). It costs the Council between $150 and $250 to serve a girl for one year. Girl Scouts of Central & Southern NJ needs your support and the support of the community to help future leaders of America reach their goals.
