Girls become women of courage, confidence and character with the help and guidance of their parents. Families are encouraged to help their Girl Scout set goals and achieve them. You can be an integral part of your Girl Scouts success by:
- Letting her identify the incentives she wants to earn
- Asking how her troop plans to use its proceeds
- Helping her write her goals
- Reviewing the safety tips
- Listening to her practice her sales pitch or message
- Going with her to sell and deliver product
- Helping to organize her orders
- Volunteering to help her troop conduct their sale. You may have a special set of skills that are useful to the leader.
A check from a parent can not replace the leadership experience your Girl Scout will gain from participating in Product Programs.
