A Green Apple training is a short workshop based on a specific topic. It is designed to serve as an enrichment opportunity for Girl Scout volunteers. A volunteer may use the information delivered in these workshops for individual use with a troop, service unit or committee. Workshops are generally one hour or less in length and cover a variety of topics. Some are for personal enrichment and others are to enhance troop program.

Body Image & Self Esteem

Working toward loving and accepting our bodies, as we are right now - flaws and all - and helping our girls do the same. This workshop explores the influence that our culture and media have on how women see themselves. An excellent resource for Advisors, Leaders, and Parents of Junior, Cadette and Senior Girl Scouts.

Geocaching

Use $40 million dollars of technology to find a $5 piece of Tupperware hidden in the woods. Intrigued? Join us for an outdoor adventure. Learn to use a compass and GPS as you participate in the international sport of "Geocaching"

Beyond Troop Camping (Weekend)

This is an adult enrichment learning opportunity for those who want to take their outdoor skills to the next level.  Possible topics include: Introductory instruction in backpacking, canoeing, map reading, orienteering, building primitive shelters and much more. 

This course in encouraged for all interested volunteers.  Prerequisite: Outdoor Skills II
