Special Interest Groups
Interested in having fun, building, teamwork, and robots? GSCSNJ is proud to announce we now have 4 FIRST Teams: Green Machine (FLL), Dream Green Machine (FLL), Gear Girls (FLL), and W.A.G.S. (FTC).
In FIRST LEGO League (FLL), become immersed in real-world science and technology challenges. Teams design their own solution to a current scientific question or problem and build autonomous LEGO robots that perform a series of missions. Create innovative solutions for challenges facing today’s scientists as part of your research project.
FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC) is designed for high school students who want to compete head to head using a sports model. Design, build, and program your robots to compete on a 8 X 4 foot field in an Alliance format against other teams. Teams develop strategy and build robots based on sound engineering principles.
Interested in becoming involved? Want to start a team in your area? Please contact Marisa Dietrich, GSLE Specialist at email@example.com for more information. 4th - 8th graders only.
