Camp Inawendiwin, Tabernacle, NJ
This camp is a sprawling 395-acre camp in the Pine Barrens of Burlington County. We offer summer day camp, troop camping, family camping, and you can host events at this location. At Inawendiwin, you can climb the rock wall, canoe on the lake, shoot archery, zip line through the woods, go on a hay ride, go geocaching, and hike.

Admin Building: Capacity 20 people (mattresses). Building with kitchen, 2 bathrooms, 1 bedroom, large common room, mattresses. Single story building with handicap accessible ramp.
Troop Camp House: Capacity 50 people (mattresses). Building with indoor fireplace, heaters and central air, running water, limited hot water, electric stoves, refrigerator and outdoor cooking area. There is a single bathroom with a shower on the first floor. There is a four stall bathroom with multiple sinks on the second floor. 1st floor is a large open area with a separate kitchen and bathroom. The second floor is a balcony along exterior walls and allows enough room for mattresses set up as a sleeping area. Side entry has handicap accessible ramp and first floor is handicap accessible.
Lakeside: Capacity 30 people (mattresses). Building with indoor fireplace, heat, running water, 3 stall bathroom with showers, limited hot water, electric stove, refrigerator and outdoor cooking area. Building is one-story; entry has handicap accessible ramp.
Sequoia: Capacity 12 people (mattresses). Building with indoor
fireplace, heater, running water, limited hot water, electric stove,
refrigerator and outdoor cooking area. This building has 2 separate
indoor living areas. One side is large, open room (activities and
sleeping); the other side has the kitchen and bathroom.
Units 5 or 6: Capacity 28 people. Acorn cabins with cots and
mattresses. Latrines, running water, limited hot water, showers, fire
pit, eating area and a centrally located bath house. Refrigerators
located in pavilions. Acorn Cabins are available from mid-April to mid-October.
Units 8 and 9: Capacity 28 people. Platform tents with some cots and mattresses. Latrines, running water, showers, limited hot water, fire pit, eating area and a centrally located bath house. Refrigerator located in pavilion. Tent units are available from mid-April to mid-October.
Marion Villalobos Campsite (formally known as Unit 2): Capacity 28 people. This newly dedicated site is a fully handicap accessible. Parking at site, building and acorn huts are ramped, cement walkways between all buildings. Site includes acorn cabins with cots and mattresses. Multi-use building includes 2 bathrooms and large common area. There is a total of 3 flush toilets, refrigerator, a kitchen sink and hot water.
Activities at Camp Inawendiwin
Please note that with any activity requested, payment is required prior to participation. Activities must be booked at least 2 weeks in advance. Activities are dependent upon times, instructors and availability. We will do our best to accommodate your group!
As of October 1, 2014, groups may provide their own instructor to teach activities as long as they were certified by council. You will need to submit a copy of your certification to Debbie Test at email@example.com.
Archery: Archery is not recommended for Girl Scout Daisies. Each session can accommodate up to 20 people. Session is approximately one hour. Instructor included. Available April, May, June, September and October.
Hay Ride: Each ride can accommodate up to 20 people and lasts approximately 30 minutes. Available May, June, September, October (weather permitting).
Vandy Hall: Capacity 200 people. Used for meetings, meals and activities. Features a commercial kitchen, cathedral ceilings with fans, two bathroom areas and a screened porch. No sleeping is allowed in this building. Available mid-April to mid-October.
Rock Tower: Rock tower is not recommended for daisies. Maximum of 25 people / session. The rock tower must be scheduled in advance as it is shared between other camps. Large groups, Service Units and Council program will have priority when reservations are made. Weight limit 40-220 lbs. Safety harness must properly fit participant.
Geocaching: GPS units are available for rental or you may bring your own. There are 3 caches on the camp and the coordinates are in the kit. The GPS units in the kit are not pre-programmed. An instruction book is in the kit, but a basic understanding of GPS is helpful when planning this activity for a troop. Reservations should be made and paid for 2 weeks in advance. There is one kit per camp. Available all year.
Kits can be picked up Wednesday- Friday before your camping weekend at Cherry Hill or East Brunswick Service Center, kits must be returned Monday or Tuesday after your camping weekend. Not recommended for Daisies.

this activity. Weight 40-220 lbs. Safety harness must properly fit participant.
Canoeing: 24 people at a time. 24 people at a time. Canoeing is not recommended for Girl Scout Daisies. Brownies can be a passenger as long as they are with older girls / adults. Certified instructor included. Life jackets are provided and must be worn. Available April, May, June, September and October weather permitting.
For canoeing please wear boat shoes, closed-toe and nonslip hiking/sport sandals with heel strap, or water socks or shoes (no flip-flops).
