Prerequisite: Girl Scout membership, Girl Scouting 101: GSUSA Orientation to Girl Scouting
Participants will learn the basic in teaching, equipment safety, range safety, how to teach good shooting habits and more. This ccertification allows you to lead archery sessions.
Course fee covers training materials. All attendees should wear sneakers and be dressed to spend the day outside (hat, sunscreen, bug spray, etc), bring a lunch, plenty of water to drink, and pen or pencil. There is a $50.00 charge for the complete course for members and $62.00 for non-members.
Once you become certified through this course and actively teach NASP at some point during the year, the certification does not expire. This training intended for new instructors or those who have previously been certified but haven't taught NASP archery in a year or more.
Space in the course is very limited. Registration ends May 10, 2013 or when the course is full. Participation does not guarantee certification. On time arrival and attendance for the full period is required.
