First Aid Legacy Badge for Juniors (Ewing) Comments
Girls will learn about the concept of Check, Call and Care and make a poster to hang out in the community and speak with an EMT and tour an ambulance and learn how the equipment works. They will also make a personal first aid kit and learn what each item is. Girls will meet with a registered nurse and learn how to handle urgent first aid issues and about simple things they can do to help people who are sick. Girls will complete all requirements to earn the Junior First Aid Legacy Badge. This is a money earning event for a Girl Scout Destination.
Registrations will be done on a first come, first serve basis.
- Registration can be done on an individual or Troop basis.
- No registrations will be accepted without payment and COMPLETED registration form.
- No siblings are allowed to attend the program.
- Each girl must have someone responsible stay for them during the program or if registering as a troop must have at least 2 registered/background checked adults.
