Camp Sheppard’s Mill,
Bridgeton, NJ
This hilly 400 acre forest is home to one of the state’s
largest white cedar trees, as well as hiking trails leading to the Outdoor
Awareness Trail, a scenic lake, and a large field for games. Heated lodge, 5 tent units with a total of 28 platform tents and able to
accommodate 112 people, a centrally located bathroom/shower facility, 2 pavilions
and a large field are available for use. Units feature platform tents with
cots, a dining fly-over a wooden deck, water spigot, fire ring, park grill, and
troop cooking equipment. Canoeing is
available if requested and arranged prior to your camping trip.
