Organization Overview

We are Girl Scouts and at GSCSNJ we build girls of courage, confidence and character, who make the world a better place. We welcome all girls who wish to accept the Girl Scout Promise and Law.

Under the guidance of trained adult volunteers, girls from diverse backgrounds, girls participate in age-progressive activities. These activities enable them to develop leadership, build self-esteem, explore interest areas, learn the value of community service, and learn positive decision making skills.

GSCSNJ is chartered by Girl Scouts of the USA to deliver its program to girls in grades k-12 in an all-girl environment.

Science & Technology
Girl Scouts in NJ are increasingly involved with the state's science, technology, engineering and math communities.

Financial Literacy
Thousands of girls learn their economic ABCs in Girl Scouts. Setting goals, budgeting, marketing and saving are vital life skills.

Healthy Living
Girl Scout programs recognize that physical health, emotional health, and self-esteem are all connected. We support the "whole girl." Nine out of ten girls say our uniquely ME! Program helps them make positive changes in their lives.

Environmental Leadership
Girl Scouts combines environmental education with community action right here in the Garden State.

Global Citizenship
Girl Scouts makes the world smaller and the girl bigger. As a part of the world's largest organization of girls, she can have a global impact and a global voice.
