Women of Distinction

Women of Distinction are role models and mentors to tomorrow's generation of women leaders. Our honorees share their stories, their challengers and triumphs with senior and ambassador Girl Scouts during the Girl Leadership Summit, a program which will offer our girls the opportunity to meet with and talk to not only the current Women of Distinction but past honorees as well. What better way to pave the way for our girls to start on their own career paths then to be able to interact with women who are already successes in their own fields.

Our girls introduce the current Women of Distinction during a program highlighting their achievements and important contributions to their communities while balancing their professional and personal life. These women demonstrate excellence in areas relevant to, and important to, the Girl Scout Movement; women in technology, education, sciences, arts and public service. They will then join the ranks of the hundreds of past honorees who continue to provide mentorship and support to our girls and programs.
