Magazine & Nuts Program
The QSP Nut Program is a quick, safe and exciting program for Girl Scouts to raise funds for her troop.
Girls can participate in this program in multiple ways. They can choose to participate in the QSP subscription program, sponsored by Time Inc. This program allows parents, friends and family the opportunity to purchase magazine subscriptions, music CDs and books. Girls can choose to participate in the Ashdon Farms nut sale which offers twelve delicious varieties of nut and candy products that make great gifts for the holiday season. Girls may also choose to participate in both!
The QSP Nut Program is an exciting program that affords troops an opportunity to set and achieve goals at the beginning of the Girl Scout year by earning start-up funds.
Girl Scouts at any level may participate in these programs. Activities below can be completed in conjunction with Daisy Petals, Brownie Try-Its, Junior Badges and Older Girl Scouts Interest Project Patches.
The Address Adventure Activity engages girls to learn about various points of interest throughout our country. In addition, this program challenges girls to identify family and friends who live in different neighborhoods or states to give them an opportunity to order new magazine subscriptions or renew old subscriptions. A troop goal chart is provided to assist with group and individual goal setting.

Be a Reader Program
As a special program activity for Girl Scouts, the QSP magazine division of Time Inc. offers a Be A Reader booklet to every troop. The program's goal is to foster an active interest in reading and literacy through a variety of fun-filled activities. QSP Online Program
The QSP Online Program allows girls to invite family and friends to place online magazine orders via the Internet and earn the Online patch. With the help of an adult, a girl must first register for the program, set a goal and upload an optional picture and a message before asking others for their support.
