Absegami Lodge, Absecon, NJ

With parking for about 8 vehicles, a campfire ring and a couple of picnic tables under a tarp, Absegami Lodge is ideal for troops/groups. It is located across the street from a city park with a lake and playground. Inside is a large program room with vinyl flooring and a high ceiling, a small office, girls and boy’s bathrooms and a kitchen. The lodge is heated but not air conditioned; the kitchen has a refrigerator, gas range, water heater and sink, but no cooking equipment. The lodge and one bathroom are handicapped accessible. There are 5 folding tables and about 30 folding chairs, plus troop, dance and karate equipment stored in various ways around the perimeter.
